Pemasangan Garmin GPS pada Windows Mobile

Untuk Pemasangan peta dasar/ basemap (inject map) ke dalam berbagai model GPS, HandPhone, PDA, NoteBook. Ikuti Prosedur Berikut ini
1. Anda harus mempunyai bluetooth GPS device atau Built in GPS Device didalam PPC PDA.

2. PPC PDA Anda harus menggunakan OS Windows Mobile versi 5 atau versi 6.
3. Pastikan Storage/SD/miniSD mempunyai space kosong lebih dari 256 MB
4. Pastikan Anda telah menginstall active-sync
5. Lakukan Soft reset pada PDA sebelum proses install.

Proses Instalasi (BACA TERLEBIH DAHULU hingga selesai, lalu ikuti langkah-langkahnya)
1. Download GarminMobileXTforWindowsMobile_4.exe,
GarminMobileXTFreeBasemap_5xxxx.exe, Keygen
, JANGAN DIINSTALL DULU IKUTI PETUNJUK BERIKUTNYA
2. Install Garmin Mobile XT dan pastikan Anda memilih Storage Card, BUKAN INTERNAL CARD sebagai target
3. Setelah Anda melihat pesan “Akan diInstall?” tekan YES
4. Setelah proses instalasi selesai JANGAN DIJALANKAN DULU (biasanya akan ada pesan autorun)
5. Keluar dari aplikasi, cabut kabel USB Anda dan lakukan soft reset pada PPC PDA Anda
6. Hidupkan kembali PPC PDA Anda dan hubungkan ke Komputer sampai ActiveSync Connected kembali
7. Install Base Map dan pilih di Storage Card juga
8. Install Voice Support dan pilih di Storage Card
9. Sekarang explore FILE MANAGER PPC PDA Anda, pilih Storage Card lalu klik pada FOLDER GARMIN maka Anda akan temukan Folder 2577. Hapus folder 2577 ini.
10. Setelah itu jalankan Aplikasi Garmin, maka anda akan mendapatkan tampilan belum membeli licensi, pilih pilihan paling bawah (jalankan saja).
11. Lalu akan tampil lisence ..BLA..BLA..BLA… OK saja, Prompted -> OK saja.
12. Masuk ke Area Setting, lalu temukan icon ABOUT dan pilih icon tersebut.
13. Catat Device ID dan Card ID Anda lalu keluar dari program Garmin.

Aktivasi
1. Jalankan Program Keygen 13.0
2. Masukkan Device ID Anda ke field yang disediakan (Field paling atas).
3. Kemudian klik “Generate” lalu copy ke 25 karakter ini.
4. Buka program Notepad Anda dan paste ke 25 karakter ini pada Notepad yang baru saja dibuka.
5. Simpan dengan nama sw.unl
6. Pada File Explorer lakukan rename pada sw.unl dengan menghapus extention txt dan Anda akan melihat perubahan jenis file menjadi sw.unl
7. Copy-kan file ini ke FOLDER GARMIN pada Storage Card PPC PDA Anda.
8. Setelah itu jalankan kembali Garmin Anda pada PPC PDA Anda dan Anda tidak mendapatkan pesan harus membeli dari Garmin namun langsung pada Lisence.
9. Jika hal ini terjadi, maka instalasi Anda berhasil, jika tidak maka ulangi step 2 di atas untuk mengenerate keygen kembali sampai berhasil.

Menambah MAP
Sebenarnya sudah ada default MAP disana, hanya saja dalam tulisan ini saya hanya menyediakan map Indonesia yang cukup lumayan lengkap

1. Download MAP Indonesia
2. Lalu Extract dan pilih yang support Garmin
3. Kemudian copy-kan file gmapsupp.img ke FOLDER GARMIN pada Storage Card Anda
4. Nikmati Peta Indonesia Sekarang.

Disable Autorun with the Regedit

To disable Removable USB/thumb drives running using Regedit follow this instruction bellow :
1. Navigate to Start -> Run
2. type REGEDIT, click OK button

3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> CDROM
4. Double Click on Autorun
5. Change from 1 to 0. The default value 1 means autorun is enabled on CDROM
6. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Policies -> Explorer
7. Double click on NoDriveTypeAutoRun
8. Change the current valut to B5 in Hex. This disables CDROMs and USB drives

To disable other devices refer to the table below. Value Meaning
0x1 Disables Autoplay on drives of unknown type.
0x4 Disables Autoplay on removable drives.
0x8 Disables Autoplay on fixed drives.
0x10 Disables Autoplay on network drives.
0x20 Disables Autoplay on CD-ROM drives.
0x40 Disables Autoplay on RAM disks.
0x80 Disables Autoplay on drives of unknown type.
0xFF Disables Autoplay on all types of drives.

By default, Autoplay is disabled on removable drives, such as the floppy disk drive (but not the CD-ROM drive), and on network drives. The default value 0x95 (149) is the sum of 0x1, 0x80 (unknown types), 0x4 (floppy drives), and 0x10 (network drives). 0xB5 is the sum of 0x1, 0x4, 0x10, 0x20 and 0x80. B5 in Hex or 181 in Decimal.
