To Setup Wireless in the Mac OSX includes configuration of wireless devices as part of the operating system, however drivers for different wireless devices may include additional configuration utilities. To setup wireless access on a Mac OSX machine ensure the drivers are installed correctly from the manufacturers CDROM supplied with the wireless device.
Connecting to the University VPN server
Click on the "VPN" icon. When asked for the type of VPN, select PPTP and click "Continue". 
The screenshot box will appear bellow .
Type the details screenshot shown in the box below.
The "Server address" is different for each campus:
- Park: 10.58.255.251
- FCH: 10.69.255.251
- Pittville: 10.78.255.251
- Oxstalls: 10.88.255.251
The "Account Name" and "Password" is the users' normal University log on details.
Click "Connect". The "Status" at the bottom of the box should change to include "Connected To". The IP address will be different each time a connection is made.
Close the configuration box.
